Big Commerce NZ is an Ecommerce platform that we have been setting clients up on for many years. It started it's life out as Interspire Shopping Cart which was originally a piece of software that you purchased and could install under your own web hosting account. However it moved to the SAAS (Software as a Service), which was a monthly subscription hosted on their own hosting platform.
Big Commerce NZ is a popular full featured Ecommerce and Shopping cart solutions. Itis now one of the main platforms that businesses will look at when setting up a new web store. It is a Ecommerce platform that is gaining in popularity and has improved significantly over the years.
Like all Ecommerce platforms, it has its strengths and weaknesses. As it isn't as widely used as some, it can lack the apps and information that other platform like Shopify NZ have. It does however have some features built in as standard that other platforms don't have, where you would need to use and pay for a third party app. One of these built in features is Gift cards, which is built into Big Commerce NZ.
Like Shopify NZ, Big Commerce is also compatible with Vend and different NZ payment providers.
