To setup a Sharesies Kids Account, you'll need to have an Adults Sharesies account already setup to link the Kids account to. You don't need to be the kids' parent or caregiver to setup a Kids account.

How To Setup a Kids Sharesies Account and get the $10 signup bonus* for your kid
- Before you signup to Kids Sharesies Account, you will need some info about the Kid. This includes their ID, Residential Address, and IRD Number. Required details can be found here.
- Log into your adult Sharesies Account, or if you aren't already an adult Sharesies Member, signup for a new account. In order to signup to an adult Sharesies account and also get a free $5 credit for your adult Sharesies account, you will need to signup using our refer a friend link at https://sharesies.com/r/CSRWQN . Please note that when signing up to a new Adult Sharesies account, in order to qualify for the free $5 credit, you only need to use our Sharesies Referral Link, you don't need to enter in any additional promo code in the Adult Sharesies signup page.
- Once you are signed into your Sharesies account, go to Settings > Create a Kids Account. Then follow the steps
- The Promo Code you need to enter when setting up the Kids Sharesies Account to get the $10 credit in the kids wallet is TOTS22 .
- Then agree to the Kids Accounts T&Cs and complete the signup process
How a Sharesies Kids Account works
- You can open a Kids Account for anyone under 18 years old. You don't need to be their parent or caregiver.
- By opening a Kids Account, you become a ‘trustee’ of the Kids Account. You’ll manage the Kids Account, and any activity must be for the kid’s benefit only.
- When the kid is old enough (25 by default, or from 18 if you choose), they can request to take control of their Portfolio.
